Mibaru Beach is a relatively unknown but extremely lovely beach in Nanjo, on the Pacific coast of Southern Okinawa. Hardly frequented by tourists (and people in general), this little hidden gem features clear water and a very relaxing atmosphere. The beach stretches for about 2 kilometres and is characterized by rock formations emerging from the shallow water. Depending on the tide, these rocks will create some small pools in which it will be easy to spot marine creatures like small fish, shrimps, and hermit crabs like this little guy! The sand of Mibaru Beach is made of millions small pieces of shells and dead coral, so it is quite fun to search for some unique pieces among them. At the same time, this type of sand will make a bit difficult walking bare foot when bathing, so it is possible to rent some sandals at the shop. It is also possible to use lockers, a changing room, and to rent a beach parasol and chair. A parking area is available for the price of 300 yen for one hour and 500 yen for the entire day. Did you Know? One of the main attractions of Mibaru Beach is the glass-bottom boat that, for the price of 1620 yen, will bring you on a 30 minutes ride to observe the beautiful coral sea bottom without having to get wet! Mibaru Beach is part of our Southern Okinawa Bus Tour. Click on the bottom below to have a look at it on our website! Our customers will also receive a discount coupon for the glass-bottom boat (Price from 1620 yen to 1000 yen). Admission Free Opening Hours Swimming season: all year Hours not specified.
