Also known as "Happy Cliff", Kafu Banta is an amazing promontory from where to admire the emerald waters of the Pacific Ocean. Located on Miyagi Island, this scenic promontory is accessible from Okinawa main Island through the famous Kaichu Doro, a road crossing the sea. The water immediately below the cliff is quite calm and trasparent. There is also a small beach, but not accessible directly from the cliff. The water is so clear that, from the top of the cliff, it is possible to spot some marine creatures, like sting rays swimming around. The further towards the horizon, the deeper the water becomes. Far away, the sea becomes dark blue and deep, with waves that inevitably attract a good number of surfers. Did you Know? The parking of Kafu Banta is offered by the close sea salt factory. For this reason, also the parking opening hours are directly connected to the factory's opening hours. The factory is not big but very interesting, with an entire room completely covered in salt, like snow! Kafu Banta, with its incredible view, is definitely one of the highlights of Okinawa central area. Our suggestion is to visit Kafu Banta in the morning, when the water color is the brightest and not covered by the shadow of the cliff. Admission Free Opening Hours 9:00 - 17:30 (Parking depends on Salt Factory opening hours) TEL 098 - 983 - 1140 Address 2768 Yonashiromiyagi, Uruma, Okinawa Prefecture 904-2423 Near Kafu Banta:
